Terms of Service

MealSave is a meal planning and grocery optimization tool. It suggests weekly plans, builds grocery lists, and estimates how much you can save based on your household preferences and your local supermarkets. MealSave is not a supermarket, not a delivery service, and not a nutritionist.

MealSave is operated by MealSave, Amersfoort, Netherlands. When you create an account, you are entering into an agreement with us. You confirm you are at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) and that the information you provide is accurate.

Supermarket prices change frequently. The savings we show are modeled from typical pricing and your recent activity. They are useful guides, not guarantees. You remain responsible for what you buy and what you spend.

MealSave uses the diet, allergies, and dislikes you give it to filter recipes. Recipe data and ingredient labels can still contain errors. Always check packaging and ingredient lists yourself, especially for allergens or medical dietary requirements. MealSave's suggestions are not medical or nutritional advice.

Meal plans are generated with the help of AI models. They are informational and can be wrong. Treat them as a starting point you can edit, not a prescription.

MealSave has a free tier and paid plans (Plus and Premium). Paid plans renew monthly until you cancel. Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record — they handle the transaction, tax, invoices, and customer service for billing questions. Our payment process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. You can cancel a paid plan at any time from Settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period and is not auto-renewed afterward.

Please don't:

• Use MealSave for anything unlawful or fraudulent.
• Try to break, probe, scrape, or overload our systems.
• Resell access, reverse-engineer the service, or remove notices.
• Impersonate someone else or share credentials.

Your pantry, household setup, and notes belong to you. You give us a limited license to host and process that content solely so we can run MealSave for you.

You can delete your account from Settings at any time. We may suspend or close an account for serious or repeated breaches of these terms, non-payment, or security/fraud risk. Where reasonable, we'll warn you first.

MealSave is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it reliable but we don't guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or always-accurate service. We disclaim implied warranties to the extent allowed by law.

To the extent allowed by law, MealSave's total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost profits, lost data, missed shopping trips). Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.

If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and let you know in-app or by email before they take effect.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts in Amersfoort, unless mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence say otherwise.
